New Paris mayor vows to tackle systemic abuse in after-school programmes

Paris' new mayor Emmanuel Grégoire officially started on March 30. His first promise has been to tackle child abuse in after-school programmes, an issue that was at the centre of the latest municipal elections. Emmanuel Grégoire was himself a victim of abuse in an after-school programme, which he made public last September. The issue is not specific to Paris - cases have appeared all over France. FRANCE 24's Solange Mougin looks into the issue.
