RiverDogs bats silent as Drive sweep doubleheader

Ricardo Ferreira’s loud blast to left-center was the highlight in an otherwise quiet night for the Charleston RiverDogs bats. The RiverDogs couldn’t capitalize with runners on, and were handed a doubleheader sweep at the hands of the Greenville Drive with 4-1 and 1-0 losses on Saturday night in front of 3,557 at Riley Park.

A water main break has closed Woodland Shores Road between PawPaw Street and Riverland Drive in West Ashley until 6 a.m. Sunday, said Charles Francis, Charleston Police Department spokesman.
