Many who helped build new Gaillard Center get first glimpse of auditorium during test-run concert

On Thursday night, more than a thousand people who helped build the new Gaillard Center — construction workers, donors, civic leaders and their family members — filled the new Martha & John M. Rivers Performance Hall to hear the very first concert in the venue that still smelled of fresh paint and new carpet.
