Legendary funk founder George Porter Jr. kicks off Southern tour in Charleston
George Porter Jr., a founding member of the Meters and easily one of the most accomplished bassists alive, is playing at the Pour House this weekend to kick off a week-long tour around the Southeast with his latest backing band, the Runnin’ Pardners.
