Supreme Court gives lawmakers more time to come up with education fix

COLUMBIA — South Carolina’s Supreme Court gave the Legislature more time to come up with a plan to fix education, but ignored lawmakers’ assertions that the justices had exceeded their authority in the 22-year-old Abbeville lawsuit.
