Heat to return to Astana and Almaty after thunderstorms

Heat from Iran moving toward Kazakhstan

Earlier, Kazhydromet warned that hot air from parts of Iran would begin moving into Kazakhstan in the coming days. Despite thunderstorms and downpours, temperatures in western regions will rise to +43°C, while unstable weather with rain, thunderstorms and hail in places will persist across most of the country.
