Residents of Almaty region received good news after the gas pipe story

Tengrinews.kz — A gas company has proposed a solution for residents of a housing estate in the Almaty region who have been forced to crawl under a gas pipe to enter or leave their homes.

Earlier, a video circulated on social media showing residents of the Ardager-Veteran housing estate in the Ili district of the Almaty region clambering under a gas pipe just to leave their property.
Responding to the reports, QazaqGaz Aimaq stated that the gas pipeline was installed in the area before the houses were built. The company noted that while the pipeline could be relocated, the costs for such work were originally the responsibility of the applicants.
Gas pipeline to be reconstructed at company's expense
The company subsequently found an alternative solution to the problem.

"After reviewing the situation and considering the public's appeals, QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC has decided to fund the reconstruction of the pipeline section using its own resources," the company announced.

It was noted that the work will be carried out in compliance with all necessary technical and safety requirements.
