30-degree heat will return to Astana and Almaty

According to the forecast, warming is expected in Astana and Almaty over the coming days. Daytime temperatures in the capital will rise to +31°C, while Almaty will see highs of up to +30°C.

Weather in Astana

On August 25, Astana will see variable cloudiness with no precipitation. Overnight temperatures will range from +8°C to +10°C, with daytime highs of +24°C to +26°C. Winds will be northerly to north-westerly at 2–7 meters per second at night, increasing to 7–12 meters per second during the day.

On August 26, dry conditions will continue. Temperatures will climb to +27...+29°C during the day, following an overnight low of +9...+11°C. Winds will shift from north-westerly to south-westerly at 5–10 meters per second.

On August 27, the temperature will rise further to +29...+31°C, with overnight lows of +13...+15°C. South-westerly winds will strengthen to 7–12 meters per second, with gusts reaching 15–20 meters per second.

In Almaty, On August 25, rain is expected, with heavier showers at night and light rain during the day. Thunderstorms are possible. Temperatures will range from +17...+19°C at night to +26...+28°C during the day. North-westerly winds will blow at 3–8 meters per second, with occasional gusts reaching 18 meters per second.

On August 26, the precipitation will cease. Overnight temperatures will drop to +13...+15°C, while daytime highs will remain at +26...+28°C. North-easterly wind gusts of up to 15 meters per second are possible.
