Kazhydromet warned of adverse weather conditions in three cities

Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet has again published a warning on its official website for residents of Almaty, Aktobe and Atyrau.
The information concerns the air quality forecast for Monday.

“On September 14, unfavorable meteorological conditions are expected in the cities of Almaty, Aktobe and Atyrau,” the statement says.

Unfavorable meteorological conditions in the form of air pollution are a combination of short-term meteorological factors, such as calm weather, light wind, fog and inversion, which contribute to the accumulation of harmful pollutants in the surface layer of the atmosphere.
According to forecasters, partly cloudy weather with no precipitation is expected in Almaty. Northwestern wind will blow at 3–8 meters per second. The daytime temperature will be 30–32 degrees Celsius.
Partly cloudy weather is also expected in Aktobe, with no precipitation forecast. Western and northwestern wind will blow at 3–8 meters per second. The daytime temperature will be 22–24 degrees Celsius.
In Atyrau, slightly cloudy weather with no precipitation is expected. Southeastern wind will blow at 2–7 meters per second. The daytime temperature will be 30–32 degrees Celsius.
