Kazakh man gets five days of arrest for swearing during TikTok livestream
Tengrinews.kz — A 42-year-old Aktobe resident was sentenced by a court to five days of administrative arrest after using obscene language and making indecent gestures during a TikTok livestream, according to the Aktobe Region Police Department.
Police reminded the public that social media is considered a public space. Therefore, going live does not exempt a person from liability for breaking the law.
“Obscene language, offensive behavior and other unlawful actions online carry the same liability as they do in public places,” law enforcement officials emphasized.
