Almaty to get even warmer as rain heads for Astana

Tengrinews.kz – Almaty is set for a gradual rise in temperatures, with highs reaching 22°C by Monday, November 9. Astana, meanwhile, is expected to see rain over the next three days, with wind gusts reaching up to 20 meters per second in some areas, according to Kazhydromet.

Temperatures in Almaty to reach 22°C

Almaty will see partly cloudy skies over the next three days, with no precipitation expected.

On Saturday, November 7, nighttime temperatures will range from +3°C to +5°C, rising to +16°C to +18°C during the day. Fog is possible overnight and in the morning.

On November 8, daytime temperatures will climb to +18°C to +20°C, while nighttime temperatures will range from +5°C to +7°C.

By Monday, November 9, the weather will become even warmer, with nighttime temperatures of +10°C to +12°C and daytime highs of +20°C to +22°C.

Rain and strong winds forecast for Astana

The capital is expected to experience rainy weather over the weekend and into early next week. Rain is forecast overnight and during the first half of November 7, late on November 8, and intermittently throughout November 9.

On Saturday, November 7, temperatures will range from +3°C to +5°C at night and +7°C to +9°C during the day.

On November 8, nighttime temperatures will drop to −3°C to −5°C, while daytime temperatures will reach +7°C to +9°C.

On Monday, November 9, temperatures are expected to range from +4°C to +6°C overnight and +9°C to +11°C during the day. Winds will shift direction, with gusts potentially reaching 15–20 meters per second.

Temperatures across Kazakhstan to reach 27°C

Earlier, meteorologists warned of significant weather changes across Kazakhstan over the next three days.

Temperatures in the south of the country could reach +27°C, while much of Kazakhstan is expected to experience rain and snow.

Heavy precipitation, fog, icy conditions and strong winds are also forecast in some regions.
