Most Filipinos satisfied with how democracy runs in PHL- SWS survey

(Mark Balmores) Thirty years after the People Power revolution, majority of Filipinos remain satisfied with how democracy works in the country, based on the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey results. In its latest survey, the SWS said public satisfaction with the way democracy works has been above 60 percent since June 2010. The record-high satisfaction of 80 percent was recorded in June 2013. Only 44 percent were satisfied with the way democracy works after the presidential elections in 2004.
