COLUMBIA — In the latest twist of an expanding legal battle, S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson defended his dismissal of special prosecutor David Pascoe, accusing Pascoe of becoming "tainted" in his zeal to take a Statehouse corruption case to a grand jury on his own.
