No military coup under Poe presidency

Lucena City, Quezon – Should she win, presidential aspirant Senator Grace Poe yesterday expressed confidence there will be no military coup under her administration. Citing that her reforms and programs would make people happy, the independent presidential bet said she is not expecting the military to turn its back on her. “If I become a president, there will be no coup d’etat. All will be happy with our reforms, we will take care of them. We will modernize them,” Poe told reporters after a campaign rally in this city after Senator Antonio Trillanes IV warned that Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, if elected, would be prone to military coup because of his ties with the communist rebels.
