Stop cormorant shoots, judge tells federal regulators

A plan to continue cormorant removal hunts on the Marion-Moultrie lakes while a new management plan is developed has been rejected by a federal judge, who told the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to "make good on its promise" to consider other options to control the birds’ population.
