Infrastructure Bank board closes the door on I-526 extension

COLUMBIA — The S.C. Transportation Infrastructure Bank board on Thursday dealt the biggest blow ever to plans for completing Interstate 526 across James and Johns islands, a decades-old project that deeply divided the community.
