Recoup I-526 funds to build sorely needed flyover
The recent decision by the State Transportation Infrastructure Bank (STIB) to dissolve its contract with Charleston County to extend the I-526 Expressway to Johns Island has demonstrated the dire need for an additional route on and off the island.
