NCRPO on full alert, MMDA to field 1,000 personnel for school opening

Caliwan Manila, June 8 — The National Capital Region Police Office will go on full alert status as part of its security preparations for the opening of classes in schools and universities across Metro Manila on June 13. NCRPO spokesperson Chief Inspector Kimberly Molitas announced Wednesday that Regional Director Joel Pagdilao ordered the deployment of 18,000 cops in Metro Manila to provide security to the expecting 2.6 million of students from kinder to senior high school to go to school on June 13. ”Our priority is to secure them against lawless elements and keep the school premises safe from all perpetrators,” she said in Filipino.
