Cayetano: Duterte studying P50 K minimum salary for police officers

DAVAO CITY — Senator Alan Peter Cayetano said the incoming Duterte administration is already studying a proposal to increase the salaries of police up to a minimum of P50,000 a month for a Police Officer 1 (PO1). Speaking at a gathering of alumni from the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) at Abreeza Mall yesterday afternoon, Cayetano said that he submitted the proposal to President-elect Rodrigo R. Duterte.
