Berkeley County School Board no longer reciting Lord's Prayer
MONCKS CORNER — When Berkeley County School Board Chairman Jim Hayes called Tuesday’s meeting to order, he bucked a time-honored district tradition. Instead of asking the audience to stand and join members in reciting the Lord’s Prayer, he requested a moment of silence.
