POEA requires placement agencies to put up a special fund for household workers

Distressed Filipino household service workers abroad are now assured of additional financial aid after the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) recently made it mandatory for their foreign placement agencies (FPA) to put up a special fund for their care.
