Sec. Piñol determined to develop Samar as the country’s food basket
Catbalogan City, Samar –The Duterte administration is determined to develop the island of Samar as the food basket of the country because of its proximity to Manila and Bicol. Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel F. Piñol said recently in a dialogue with Samar officials.
