MOVIE REVIEW: Wonderful and worthwhile

Admittedly, I was one of those who, up until the announcement and release of the trailer of the movie, had never heard of “The Big Friendly Giant” or simply, “BFG.” I was surprised to hear that it actually began life as a well-loved children’s book authored by Roald Dahl, whose other works include “James And The Giant Peach,” “Matilda,” and perhaps, most notably, “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.” Obviously, I skipped the tome in my childhood.
