Developer offers Mt. Pleasant $1.5 million for roads to assure building permits
MOUNT PLEASANT — Town Council’s recent attempts to restrain residential construction prompted one developer to offer the town $1.5 million for road improvements, in exchange for a guarantee that building permits will be issued.
