Ski jumper Hayboeck wins as Prevc struggles again

Austria's Michael Hayboeck claimed his third career World Cup win at Lahti on Sunday as overall series leader Peter Prevc had a day to forget.

Hayboeck won with 241.4 points -- capped by a second jump of 100m -- ahead of Germany's Karl Geiger (232.2 pts) and Japan's Taku Takeuchi (229.9).

Slovenia's Prevc was ninth, his worst result since an 11th place finish in Lillehammer in early December.

However, the Four Hills champion who has 11 wins this season, still enjoys a lead of over 500 points in the World Cup standings.
