Extreme heat of up to +45°C to persist in Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz — Kazhydromet forecasters have presented the weather forecast for July 11, 12 and 13.

Where rain is expected

According to forecasters, atmospheric fronts will keep the weather unstable across most of the country.

Short-term rain with thunderstorms is expected, while hail and squally winds are possible in western regions.

At the same time, no precipitation is expected in the east, south, southwest and central regions of the country.

The heat will not subside

Despite the rain, hot weather will persist almost across all of Kazakhstan. During the day, air temperatures in most of the country will reach +33…+40°C, while in the south and southwest the air will warm up to +38…+45°C.

What July 2026 will be like in Kazakhstan

Earlier, Kazhydromet forecasters reported that July in Kazakhstan is expected to be contrasting: periods of intense heat will alternate with heavy rain, thunderstorms, squally winds and dust storms. In southern regions, air temperatures may reach +45°C on some days. Read more here.
