A new wave of volunteers at Olando Kepurė: over 650 volunteers restored 500 square metres of damaged terrace

​This year, the volunteering initiative ‘Kopoms reikia tavęs’ (‘The Dunes Need You’) drew over 650 nature lovers from across Lithuania to Olando Kepurė. They reinforced areas of the cliff’s upper terrace damaged by erosion, restored the soil cover around the trees, repaired steps, benches and paths, and prepared the dunes for the coming winter. During this campaign – organised for the sixth time by the SBA Group and the Seaside Regional Park – a total of over 500 square metres of the terrace was restored.
