Zinedine Zidane has wished Alvaro Morata luck after his move to Chelsea, just not when he is playing against Real Madrid.

The 24-year old striker has signed for the Premier League champions on a five-year deal for an initial £58m transfer fee.

The Spanish international scored 20 goals for the La Liga champions last season, but was keen to leave Real in order to find regular first team football.

"What I can say is that we wish him all the luck in the world, except when he plays against Madrid," Zidane told ESPN

"Alvaro knows that his home is in Madrid, it's always in Madrid and he'll always be part of us.

"In the end he had to make a decision and his decision was to go to another club."

Morata will not be linking up with his international teammate Diego Costa at his new club after manager Antonio Conte confirmed that his exit had been planned since January
