This may be as good as it gets regarding the US debt situation. This from the CBO:

In 2016, the federal budget deficit will increase, in relation to the size of the economy, for the first time since 2009, according to the Congressional Budget Office’s estimates. If current laws generally remained unchanged, the deficit would grow over the next 10 years, and by 2026 it would be considerably larger than its average over the past 50 years, CBO projects. Researchers discovered 4 traits of high-performing executives

A recent article by Ron Carucci in The Harvard Business Review describes the results of a 10-year study on the skills of top-performing executives.

Researchers including Carucci, who is cofounder of the consulting firm Navalent, followed workers as they transitioned into executive roles, ultimately conducting more than 2,700 interviews.

They found that the very best leaders excelled in four key areas:

Snow may not be the only thing we have to worry about this weekend

Weather forecasts suggest that serious snowstorm is bearing down on the Northeast this weekend, which is predicted to dump between one and two feet of snow along the coast from Virginia to Boston.

But that's not the worst part.

As Slate reports, the blizzard could also bring massive waves and flooding to New York and New Jersey, the likes of which haven't been seen since Hurricane Sandy.
