Tonight’s musical episode of “The Flash” features a wide variety of songs, but the most upbeat among all of them is probably the tune “Super Friends,” which “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” star Rachel Bloom co-wrote for the TV special. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gustin described “Super Friends” and explained how it is different from other songs in the musical.

Afghan Official: Attack Kills 6 From Intelligence Service

A suicide car bomber targeted an Afghan forces' checkpoint in southern Helmand province, killing at least six members of an intelligence service unit, an Afghan official said Tuesday. According to Hayatullah Hayat, the provincial governor in Helmand, seven other members of the service were wounded in the attack, which took place late on Monday night in the district of Gareshk, close to the provincial capital of Lashkar Gah. 51st Medical Logistics Company returned home Monday to Fort Bragg. The soldiers were deployed to six locations in four countries over their tour of duty, providing life-saving medical supplies and support to the nation’s warfighters in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere.

Passengers on some U.S.-bound foreign airline flights will have to check electronic devices larger than a cell phone once U.S. authorities formalize a new ban in response to an unspecified terrorism threat, U.S. officials told Reuters on Monday. The new rule is expected to be announced Tuesday by the Department of Homeland Security, the officials said, adding that it had been under consideration since the U.S. government learned of a threat several weeks ago.
