5k jobs will be lost: MCGSOA
The closing down of gold and silver foundries in Manek Chowk will ha ve a major impact on the Rs 5,000-crore annual jewellery business in the area, claimed the Manek Chowk Gold and Silver Ornament Association (MCGSOA). It also claimed that the shutting down of these units will leave 5,000 people jobless.
