Contemporary folklore singer Beautiful Nubia also known as Segun Akinlolu has expressed his desire to go into politics and make a change in Nigeria.

In an interview with The Nation, the Eji Owuro singer said that he will most likely run for governor in the next elections. He revealed this when asked if he will go into politics like other entertainers have done in the past. Read excerpts of the interview below:

In December 2015, ace movie producer and director, Lancelot Imasuen charged his colleagues to be policy makers and not only entertainers used by politicians to entertain during political campaigns.
