Quacks rule the roost in Odisha, superstition claims lives
Superstition continues to take lives in the state. Two persons were murdered in Gajapati and Keonjhar districts for suspected witchcraft in the past one week. A 27 day-old child was branded with a hot iron rod at a remote village in Nabarangpur district recently.
