So does anyone really care what his wife wore to his swearing-in? Perhaps not, though her ice-blue ensemble by Ralph Lauren, in double-faced cashmere, was very sophisticated. The shapely tailored sheath showed off her enviable figure. The jacket had a hussar’s collar and bracelet-length sleeves—the latter a signature of Jackie Kennedy, as many commentators observed. But it seemed to me that Mrs. Trump was channelling another former model with a Zoolander squint who was married to a President: Carla Bruni.
