Maria Sharapova started with a win, new rock on her ring finger, a new HEAD in her hand and a new coach by her side, Thomas Hogstedt, replacing Michael Joyce. Justine Henin won her first match back but struggled. Novak Djokovic is inspired by Davis Cup win and looks forward to a non voilent match with Croatian Ivan Dodig.
