Viraj Ghelani's friends didn't watch Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan in theatres; recalls horrible work experience, 'F*ck it'

Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is one of the biggest hits of 2023. It was King Khan's second release of 2023 after his four-year break from movies as a leading hero. Directed by Atlee, the movie had a wonderful ensemble cast: Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupati, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, and several others. Everyone who has worked on the movie had amazing things to say about the overall experience. However, influencer Viraj Ghelani didn't seem to have enjoyed much working on the project. In an interview, he called it the 'worst experience' ever!

In an interaction with The Having Saving That Show podcast, Viraj Ghelani said that when Jawan released it and people watched it for him, they were very kind. "But it was the worst experience I've ever had. They don't consider you because they have Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt. The work culture was like, 'Haan, yaha khada ho ja, yeh karle'."

In the same podcast, the Instagram sensation revealed that when Jawan released in theatres or OTT, his closest friends didn't even watch it. Viraj Ghelani mentioned that he took his fiancee to watch the film and they were eagerly waiting for the scene. However, he was shocked to see how he came and went in just a few seconds. He fell like a blurry background in the movie.

"I shot for 10 days in the May heat at Madh Island from 12 PM to 6 PM. But suddenly, I saw that they only used footage from the first day's half-hour shoot, despite my 15 days of work. They cast creators and influencers merely for clout," the content creator further claimed.

The romantic comedy starred Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Atlee, the Tamil director, made his Bollywood debut with SRK's Jawan. The majority of the reviews were positive, and the audience loved it.
