Jaden McNeese and Kim Dobson captured victories at the largest Vail Winter Uphill in the event’s 19-year history earlier this month. On Feb. 8, 188 skiers, snowboarders and runners completed the 2.1-mile 2,253-foot climb of groomed trails from the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola to Eagle’s Nest. Due to a lack of snow on the top of Simba, part of the course was rerouted, adding an additional quarter mile or so to the ascent.
