Noomi Rapace’s ‘What Happened to Monday?’ Acquired by Netflix

Buys have been scarce at this year’s Toronto Film Festival so far. On Monday, Natalie Portman‘s “Jackie” was acquired by Fox Searchlight, and on Tuesday, Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis‘ movie “Colossal” went to a mystery Chinese buyer.
Netflix purchases have also been considerably down from this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where the streaming platform bought titles such as “Tallulah,” “Audie & Daisy” and “The Fundamentals of Caring.”
Ahead of TIFF, Netflix bought the rights to Justin Timberlake‘s concert film, “Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids.”
