For as long as I can remember, I have been gathering with friends, family, and even the occasional foe (depending on who was playing), to watch the Super Bowl.

If you’re hosting a Super Bowl party this year, it’s a good time to make a checklist and ensure you have everything you need for the big game.

A slow cooker

Slow cookers are always great for parties, but they become especially important when preparing to host a Super Bowl party. It’s nice to have the ability to cook passively, and your slow cooker makes it easy to prep chili, pulled pork, or the all-important Buffalo chicken dip. Speaking from experience, if your Super Bowl party doesn’t have Buffalo chicken dip, it’s not a great Super Bowl party.

A deep fryer
