Fox News hires Trump fan Nigel Farage as political commentator

London (dpa) - US broadcaster Fox News has hired former UK Independence Party leader and outspoken Brexit camapiagner Nigel Farage, a strong supporter of US President Donald Trump, as a political commentator."In this role, he will offer political analysis across FNC (Fox News Channel) and FOX Business Network‘s daytime and primetime programming," the broadcaster said.Farage backed Trump during the US presidential election campaign and attended his inauguration on Friday, praising his "very strong speech" and saying "he means it."In a commentary from Washington for The Telegraph on Saturday, Farage said he had found the impact of Brexit in the US "truly astonishing.""As I walk through the streets - and even during a visit to Arlington Cemetery - people simply call out ‘Go Brexit!‘ It is quite extraordinary," he wrote."Many people want to come up, talk and say: ‘Thank you!
