As Trump Looks to Dismantle the EPA, Concerned Americans Rally to Demand Lawmakers Defend Public Health and the Environment

As details of the Trump administration’s plans to dismantle the Environmental Protection Agency and attack fundamental health and safety standards steadily come to light, thousands of concerned residents and community leaders rallied at dozens of actions across the country today to demand that lawmakers resist Trump’s agenda and defend the funding and mission of the EPA. The National Day of Action to Defend Public Health and the Environment was organized by the advocacy groups Food & Water Watch and People’s Action.
