Dorking FC Bye

Such a shame that a historic old football club has folded and the 3 people responsible have walked away without even acknowledging the fact. I followed last weeks tweets during the final league game and was stunned to see no mention of the fact it was the last ever game for this grand old club. Same old tweet under 18 year old has made a pass... Please show some balls and accept you cocked up... The message when the new board took over ( after being introduced to the club by the management ) was how they were going to save Dorking FC and take it forward and it was to be a club the local community would want to be part of. Only a few months ago a crowd funding page was set up to save the club. Many people donated money what changed? And what happened to our cash? We can all have opinions on what's happened but to allow a club with such tradition and history to just disappear without mention shows the true side of the 3 man board of the club. This was to be a community club not a club for 3 egos. Mistakes have been made along the way ( some made whilst I was part of the club) but the club deserved a dignified end and the many people involved with the club during its time should be thanked for their efforts not dismissed. it's a shame the board had personal agendas which have resulted in DFC folding when a new ground is on its way. Remember the statements over the last couple of years obviously they were either lies or posted by incompident individuals. As the board are now part of Dorking Wanderers I hope They don't cock up the great work Marc and his team have done over the last few years. IAlthough DFC don't care to mention it there are a number of people who do Goodbye DFC.
