A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo is a story of love and gay marriage between the Pence family’s pet rabbit Marlon Bundo and another male bunny.

You may or may not know that Vice President Mike Pence's family has a pet rabbit named Marlon Bundo.

Pence's daughter Charlotte recently wrote a picture book about the bunny, titled Marlon Bundo’s A Day in the Life of the Vice President, which was also illustrated by Pence's wife Karen.

The book imagines a day in the life of the BOTUS (Bunny of the United States).

Well, John Oliver, comedian and host of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, decided to troll Pence and release his own parody children's book about the bunny — one day before the Pences' book was released.

In Oliver's version, Marlon Bundo is gay and falls in love with another male bunny named Wesley.

They decide to get married but a "Stink Bug" that looks suspiciously like Pence declares that same-sex marriage isn't allowed.

However, true love prevails and the Stink Bug gets voted out.

All proceeds from Oliver's book, which is currently the 2nd most popular book on Amazon this year, are being donated to The Trevor Project and AIDS United.

In the book's press release, Amit Paley, the CEO of The Trevor Project, said, “This book has an important message for all LGBTQ youth: That they are worthy of love and should be proud of who they are. That's a message we can all believe in. We are so grateful to be the beneficiary of books sold. The funds raised through the sales of this book will help us continue to operate our 24/7 life-saving services for LGBTQ youth."
