The 1st FIDE World Cadets Rapid & Blitz Chess Championships 2017 will be held in Minsk, Belarus, from 1st of June (arrivals) to 5th of June (departures) 2017. The championships will be held in Palace of Sport in Minsk, Belarus.

The deadline for the registration is May 1st, 2017. Given the short timing prior to the start of the event and also that this is the first ever world championships for these age groups and time controls, direct registration by players will be accepted. Читать дальше...

BIDDING PROCEDURE FOR THE FIDE WORLD WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH 2017

1. The FIDE Presidential Board decided to open a bidding procedure for the FIDE World Women’s Championship Match 2017.

2. Each bid shall contain the following particulars as minimum:

a) Proposed event dates which can be extended up to 31 January 2018.
b) Proposed venue of the event.
c) Proposed prize fund for the players (minimum 200,000 euros & should be offered net of any applicable local taxes). Читать дальше...
