'Evidence couldn't be clearer': Hamas, allies committed 'hundreds' of war crimes in attack on Israel

Human Rights Watch (HRW) Senior Crisis Conflict Researcher Belkis Wille joins FRANCE 24's Mark Owen to present their independent, fact-based report on October 7th's surprise attack on southern Israel and the numerous atrocities committed against civilians that left over 1000 dead and more than 200 taken hostage. According to HRW's just-released report, Hamas led four other 'well-trained' Palestinian armed groups in committing hundreds of war crimes in the deadliest attack in Israel's history, setting off a brutal war in Gaza that has claimed the lives of more than 38,0000 people. Hamas reacted with fury to one of the most in-depth international studies on the unprecedented incursion into southern Israel, demanding that HRW withdraw the report and "apologise". The report set out a host of crimes under international law that it says Hamas and its allies breached.
