Russian court hands 16-year prison sentence to detained US reporter Gershkovich

Russia handed a 16-year prison sentence to Evan Gershkovich in a closed-door trial on charges of espionage. The Wall Street Journal reporter, who’s 32, has rejected the charges, as have his employers and the White House.
