'Year of suffering': 41,000 Palestinians killed in Gaza war

One year after Hamas's deadly attack on Israel unleashed war in Gaza, the Palestinian territory is unrecognisable and its residents are exhausted by displacement and shortages, with no end in sight. About 90 percent of the population has been displaced at least once, the United Nations says.
