New Orleans truck attacker acted alone but was loyal to jihadist group, FBI says

The FBI said on Thursday US army veteran Shamsud-Din Jabbar, who carried out a deadly truck attack in New Orleans on New Years Eve, likely acted alone after being inspired to carry out an "act of terrorism" by the Islamic State group.
