Mexico's Sheinbaum offers sarcastic response to Trump's Gulf of America comments

After US President-Elect Donald Trump stated the Gulf of Mexico should be renamed the "Gulf of America", Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum joked on Wednesday that the US should be renamed the "Mexican United States". Sheinbaum reminded Trump that the United Nations only recognizes the body of water's current name, but reiterated that, less than two weeks prior to Trump's inauguration, she wanted to cultivate "good relations" with the incoming president.
