Ronaldo, 39, made the quick journey to Riyadh to watch the fight along with many other sports stars.

While in the audience, he was approached by Fury’s promoter Frank Warren.

Warren said to the Portuguese forward: “We are still waiting for you at Arsenal.”

To which the five-time Ballon d’Or winner could only laugh before giving his prediction for the Premier League title race.

He said: “They are not going to win the league.”

Ronaldo believes that the Gunners will fall just short of lifting their first league title in two decades.

Arsenal face Everton on the final day of the season, while rivals Manchester City take on West Ham.

The Gunners need to beat the Toffees and rely on the Hammers to pick up a result at the Etihad Stadium.

He has been prolific in the Saudi Pro League since the move, scoring 47 goals in 45 appearances.

After the exchange ended between Warren and Ronaldo, it was down to business in the boxing.

Ronaldo sat next to British boxing star Anthony Joshua for the thrilling 12-round fight.
